Michelle Oliver East, age 61, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at her residence. She was born June 14, 1962 in Caldwell County to the late Bailey Oliver and Linda Greene Walker. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Jeff Oliver; and her step-father, Donald Walker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 26 years, Ricky Dale East; two sisters, Maria Oliver Ledbetter, and Donna Walker Stevens and husband Chad, all of Lenoir; one step-brother, Timm Walker and wife Jeanie of Collettsville;  numerous nieces and nephews; and her three faithful companions, Daisy, Dolly, and Dixie.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Whitnel First Baptist Church with Rev. Stewart White officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
