Mildred Bolick, age 75, of Lenoir, NC passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Mildred was born on September 8, 1948 to the late Allen and Gladys Summerlin in Caldwell county.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother J.D and wife Marlene Summerlin.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Howard Pumroy Bolick; step-daughter, Jennifer Watson and husband Phillip; grandchildren, Kayla Beaver, Emma Winkler, Ava Beaver, and Peighton Watson; brothers, Douglas Summerlin and wife Mavis, Roger Summerlin and wife Doris, and Jerry Connor and wife Kay; sisters, Evelyn Ritch, Shelby Bryant and husband Ralph, and Wanda Walsh.

Mildred was a wonderful and caring wife. She had a smile that was shared with everyone she met. Mildred will be remembered as a wonderful cook. Nothing pleased her more than meals with her loved ones.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mildred Bolick will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 2pm at Union Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Sam Craven officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM-2:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mildred's honor to Gideon's International or Union Grove Church.
