Minnie Branch Church, age 85, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at home. She was born December 29, 1939 in Burke County, NC, to Willie Cecil Branch and Gracie Summerow Branch. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Franklin Church.

Minnie was a member of Confidence A.C. Church. She attended every service as long as she was able. She participated in the music program throughout the years, taught Sunday School, Bible School, etc. Her quiet faith in Christ was a wonderful example of a disciple and teacher. Along with child rearing, Minnie also managed a full time job including Intravision and IGP where she was a treasured employee. She will surely be missed.

Minnie had four children with spouses as follows: Darrell G. Church (deceased) and wife Elitha Ann Burgess Church; Kurt F. Church and wife, Sandra Chandler Church (deceased); Todd R. Church and wife, Heather Grosser Church; and Daughter, Trina C. Curtis and husband, John E. Curtis (Rick). He was also blessed with four grandchildren (Jannette, Jamie, Cody, Kyle), and four great-grandchildren (Chloe, Colton, Kaden, and Jacie).

There will be no Funeral Services held due to health issues of the family and to honor Minnie's wishes.
