Morris Dixon Marsh, age 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Morris was born on January 4, 1950 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Newell and Helen Marsh.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Wheeling and Jean Phillips, as well as his brother-in-law, Gary Caudill.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Beverly Marsh; daughters, Melissa Hamby, Beth Bryant (Robert Sipes), and Danett Harmon; sisters, Doris Winkler (Paul), Mitzi Caudill, and Shelly Wood; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Harmon; grandchildren, Brian Hartley (Meagan), Bailey Presnell, Mason Presnell (Victoria), Deanna Gibson, Evan Gibson (Asher), Ian Gibson (Grace), Jayden Gibson, Isaiah Gibson, and Ezekiel Haskett; and great-grandchildren, Harper Bryant and Addison See.

Morris loved to watch car racing and enjoyed NASCAR. He worked in the furniture factory for many years and was a hard worker. Morris loved and supported his family. He was kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His family takes comfort in knowing that Morris is now at peace.
