Naomi Church Hodges, daughter of Dow Lowe Church and Francis Watson Church, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 14, 2023.

She was a member of Buffalo Cove Baptist Church. She was separated from her loving husband Ed Stanford Hodges on September 19, 1996 and was reunited in death on December 14, 2023. She is also preceded in death by her two sisters, Hazel Moore (Dana) and Evaline Watson (Claude).

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Coffey and late husband Chink Coffey of Lenoir, Debra Causby (Tony) of Lenoir, and one son Gil Hodges (Vivian) of Sawmills. She is also survived by her brother, Delmas Church of Sunnyside, Washington; four grandsons, Rodney Whisnant of Lenoir; Derrick Hodges (Kitty) of Granite Falls, Travis Hodges of Lenoir, and Steven Coffey of Lenoir; one granddaughter, Barbara Hodges; and two great grandchildren, Bruce Hodges and Ryleigh Faith Coffey.

Her ashes will be laid to rest beside her loving husband at Buffalo Cove Baptist Church Cemetery.
