Nina Wood Davis, 82 of Granite Falls passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Nina was born on January 14, 1942 in Burke County to the late Eugene Harrison Wood and Lavenia Wood. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Paul Derek Davis; grandson, James Dean Harney; and brothers, Eugene H. Wood and John Wood.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Perry R. Davis (Dee Dee), Kelly Parlier (Mark), and Laura D. Williams; grandchildren, Ashley A. Williams (Shane), Zack Causby (Katie), Austin K. Davis (Elizabeth), Derek Causby (Jessica), Justin Williams (Emily), Steven Alexander Parlier, and Davis Williams; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Timber Williams, Hadley and Andi Kate Causby, Ellanor and Joanna "Jojo" Davis, Raylee Hargus and Evelyn Causby, and Blair Flowers; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Amorem Hospice Care and Allways Caring HomeCare staff, Monette "Moe" O'Brien (John), for taking such wonderful care of their Nunu.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Abernethy Memorial United Methodist Cemetery at 1200 Malcolm Blvd, Rutherford College, NC 28671 across from First Baptist Rutherford College Church with her son, Perry Davis officiating.
