Norma Gail Huffman Parsons, age 83, of Hudson, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Norma was born on October 12, 1942 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Murphy and Connie Huffman.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Marcus Kemp; husband, Ralph Parsons; brothers, Paul Huffman, Ralph Huffman Jr., and JB Huffman; sisters, Leatha Story, Mildred Bradshaw, and Peggy Jo Huffman; and nephews, Larry Huffman, Barry Huffman, and Johnny Story.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her son, Timmy Kemp (Lisa); daughters, Tammy Eldreth (Steve) and Paula Gilbert; grandchildren, Cody Laxton (Jessica), Casey Laxton (Kristin), Scott Eldreth, Tracy Eldreth, Dustin Kemp (Dawn), Daniel Kemp, Ashley Bolden (Benny), Jordan Rankin (Brittany), and Joe Gilbert (Brooklyn); great-grandchildren, Sawyer Laxton, Kaeli Resendiz (Quentin), Deuce Eldreth, Maddix Kemp, Macie Kemp, Penelope Kemp, Noah Bolden, Natalie Bolden, Henry Rankin, Emma Dean Rankin, Rosie Rankin, Bentley Gilbert, and Callie Eldreth; great-great grandchildren, Axton Resendiz, Ali Resendiz, and Walker Resendiz; nieces and nephews, Karen Likes, Peggy Wheeler, Kay Ballard, Shirley Clickner, Dale Bradshaw, Teresa Brakefield, Kenny Story, Ricky Huffman, Mike Huffman, and Randy Huffman; and best friend/cousin, Edna Ledee.

Norma worked at Shuford Mills for many years. She was a hard worker, and she loved her family very much. She enjoyed spending time with them in Pigeon Forge and going to Dollywood. Norma also loved Christmas and taking care of others. She always wanted to feed anyone who came to her home. She will be dearly missed.

Donations can be made in her honor to Amorem Hospice of Hudson, North Carolina.

Per Norma's wishes, no services will be held.
