Opal Stewart Sexton, 75 of Hudson passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 31, 2023.

Opal was born on December 11, 1948 in Mitchell County to the late Grant Stewart and Edith Woody Stewart.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sexton; and sister, Susie Watkins.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Rodney Huskins (Becky); daughter, Crystal Pace (Tim); brother, Boyd Stewart; sister, Kathleen LaPierre; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
