P. Kermit Clark, age 87, of Lenoir passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at College Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 30, 1936 in Caldwell County to the late Edgar Houston Clark and Zellah Clark. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers, Ed Clark, Garfield Clark, Jeter Clark, and Bobby Clark; and two sisters, Ruth Crotts and Anna Mae Clark.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 66 years, Kay Kincaid Clark, of the home; one son, Kevin Clark and wife Susan of Morganton; one daughter, Kristie McAden and husband Michael of New Bern; three sisters, Judy Berry and husband Bill of Hildebran, Barbara Hamby and husband Doug of Lenoir, and Nancy Coffey of Lenoir; four beloved grandchildren, Hannah Clark and husband Shane Prisby, Amelia Clark, Judson McAden and wife Rose, and Clark McAden; two step-grandchildren, Ty Dudley and Ian Dudley; two great-grandchildren, Lottie McAden and Wyeth Prisby; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Rev. Walter Lundy officiating.
