Patricia (Pat) Ann Belcher Snyder, age 77, of Lenoir passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was born on November 9, 1947 in Gaston County to the late James Frank Belcher and Addie Davis Belcher. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Sherman Belcher, and Ed Hollins; sisters, Akie Patterson, Marie Ward, and Betty Bowlin; and one granddaughter, Dixie Tester.

Pat was the youngest of six siblings who fondly called her Kitten. Pat overcame many hurdles in her life which included Polio and alcoholism. She always tried to keep everyone happy by using her wit and jokes. Pat loved big and gave bigger. She was dearly loved and will be missed greatly by many. We love you Mom.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, James C. Snyder and H. Wayne Snyder; daughter, L. Michelle Morgan (Mark); grandchildren, Tracie, Christopher, Brina, Summer, Rebel, Bridgett, Roxie, Michael, Cheyenne, Kelsey, Jared, and Heather; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.  And a special thank you to the love of Mom's life for over 40 years, Bobby Burns. Mom loved you dearly and we thank you for the love you showed her.

Per Mrs. Snyder's wishes there will be no services held at this time. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date via Facebook by the family.
