Patricia White Bentley, age 76, of Granite Falls passed away after a long battle with dementia on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. She was born September 4, 1949 in Caldwell County to the late Hyatt White and Lucille Starnes White Phillips. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bentley; one sister; and many aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Elendria Winkler and husband Jeff of Lenoir; and her two beloved caregivers, Cassandra Yates and Brenda Melton.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at City on a Hill Church with Rev. Seth Avery officiating.
