Patricia Lynn Smith Swanner, age 69, of Lenoir, NC, passed away on Monday October 9, 2023.

Patricia was born in Caldwell County to the late Datus Wesley Smith and Bergie Crisp Smith on June 10, 1954.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, of 19 years, Robert Lee Swanner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Pamela Smith Szczerba; nieces Lisa Shuford, Crystal Swanner Sopalalla; nephews, Dorian Swanner, Dustin Warren, and Joshua Swanner; Sister-In-Law, Ruby Swanner Nesbitt; Brother-In-Law, Ronald Nesbitt; great-nephew, Michael Walden; and several great nieces and nephews.

Patricia is a beloved, generous, kind, and tinder hearted sister and friend. Patricia was a member of College Ave Baptist Church. She enjoyed sharing her love of the Lord with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on October 14, 2023 at College Avenue Baptist Church at 2:00PM with Pastor Earl Davis and Pastor Jenny Thomason officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to College Avenue Baptist Church or the Children's Home Society.
