Patricia Hunt Wilkie, age 75, of Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Patricia was born on September 27, 1949 to the late Robert and Gladys Hunt in Caldwell County, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ossie Hunt, John Hunt, and Jim Hunt; and sisters, Becky Hunt Bishop and Barbara Hunt Tavares.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 52 years, Dean Wilkie; sons, Jonathon Wilkie and Jason Wilkie; sisters, Carol Hunt Rossoe and Sarah Hunt Williams; niece, Susan H. Duncan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother, and aunt. She truly enjoyed nature, especially birds. Patricia had a generous and loving heart. She took care of and assisted others family or not. She was a special person, and she will truly be missed.

At the request of Patricia, no services will be held. Her family requests this decision be respected.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amorem Hospice in Hudson, Audubon Society, and The Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
