Patricia "Patti" A. Wright Woodworth passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023 with her husband of 53 years, Charles "Chuck" Woodworth at her side.  She was born in Binghamton, NY on September 24, 1947 to Harold S. and Marion "Betty" Wright.  Patti worked for IBM after high school and graduated from Corning Community College with a degree in secretarial science.

A 1966 gift of a teddy bear from her then boyfriend, Chuck, led to her lifelong passion for making and collecting teddy bears.  She attended many teddy bear shows and sold her bears under her business name of "Bears by PAW".  Her bears are in the collections of teddy bear lovers around the world.  While she sold many teddy bears, she gave away far more to friends and charities.

Patti was kind and generous and a dedicated friend.  She had a "goofy" side and was always fun to be around.  She remained in touch with her childhood friends, Kathy Berry Kennedy of Endicott, NY, Dusty Deyo of Los Angeles, CA, Colleen Doughtery Vrooman of Binghamton, NY, and Jan Dancesia Hehmeyer of PA; After moving to Rochester, NY, she became a close friend of John and Bonnie Bean of Lima, NY, and the entire Bean family.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her brother, William "Bill" Wright of Southport, NC; her cousins, Eleanor Geryk and Tom Ruth; her dedicated caregiver and family friend, Malisa Moore of Lenoir, NC; Malisa's Children, Bradley, Brandon and grandson, Ryker.

A celebration of Patti's life will be held at a future date.
