On September 6th, 2024, at 11:15 a.m., Paul Garfield Dodge, 61 of Lenoir, NC went home to be with the Lord. Those by his side during the time of his passing were his devoted wife of 38 years, Paula A Dodge; as well as daughter, Jessica and son in law Justin.

Paul is survived by his Wife and children Maria Gill (Nick Gill), Charles Mobus, Jessica Klock (Justin Klock), Jaimie Dodge, Julia Dodge (Fisher Laws), Hannah R Triplett and his grandchildren Christian Lucas, Maya Mobus, Lee (Natalie) Harris , Alex West, Jamison Gill , Jaden Mobus, Carson Hawkins, Emily Hawkins, Raias Isaiah Wolf Pope. He also leaves behind his brothers, Kenneth Dodge, Scott (Jeff) Dodge, sisters, Penny Akerman, Nancy Huntress and Linda Dodge, sister-in-law Stephanie Montgomery, as well as many children he considered his own and loved dearly.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Margaret and father Paul Dodge Sr., mother-in-law Lucille Montgomery and father-in-law Paul Montgomery, nephews, Joshua Dodge and Adam Dodge and his babies Jason and Robert Dodge. Paul will be missed by friends and family dearly.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank you" to all the home health care and in patient caretakers through Amorem Hospice that provided excellent compassionate care and to P.A. Melissa Carlton for many years of care.

There will be a private memorial service in his honor at the Cove's Mountain River Club lodge. If you would like to attend please reach out to someone in the family.
