Paula Kay Adams, age 50, of Lenoir, NC, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023.

Paula was born on April 24, 1973 to the late Bill Thorne and Linda Sue Gragg in Caldwell County, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Stephen Adams.

Those left to cherish Paula's memory include her sons Johnathon Prestwood (Patience Taylor) and Jordan Prestwood (Kaitlin Prestwood); daughters Jessica Prestwood (Bobby Trumbauer),and Julie Prestwood; brother William Thorne; sister Judy Eggers; grandchildren Malachi, Jaelyn, Ma'Kenzie, Jonah, Josie, and Waylon; grandpup Clover; and former husband and father of her children Bobby Prestwood.

Paula loved Jesus. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart.

A funeral service for Paula will be held at Celia Creek Baptist Church on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. conducted by Pastor Bradley Crump.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Trumbauer, Jordan Grant, Brandon Gragg, Steven Greene, Shannon Gragg, and Robbie Livington.
