Perry Benton Blevins, age 64, of Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Perry was born on July 21, 1961 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Harley and Florella Blevins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Michael Thompson; sisters, Lena Gilbert (David) and Pam McGee; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; as well as numerous other loved ones.

Perry loved to help others. He was always joking and making others laugh. He will be dearly missed.

Mr. Blevins' Memorial Service will be Monday, June 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Harris Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Burgett officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church.
