Rachel McCall Reichard, age 93, of Lenoir passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at her residence. She was born October 6, 1932 in Caldwell County to the late Lemuel C. McCall and Annie Suddreth McCall. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Terry L. Reichard; one brother, Olin McCall; and three sisters, Mozelle McRary, Louise Midyette, and Helen Watson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, L. Gwyn Reichard; one daughter, Sheila R. Watts (Benjie); two sisters, Ruby Braswell and Patricia Todd (William); four grandchildren, Chad Reichard, Brad Reichard, Henry Reichard, and Rachel Amanda Watts Overcash (Leslie); six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. David Payne officiating. Burial will be private.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Reichard, Brad Reichard, Henry Reichard, Brad Clontz, Sawyer Whitman, and Tommy Arney.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
