Clyde "Ralph" Phillips, age 82, of Lenoir passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1943 in Wilkes County to the late Clyde Dewey Phillips and Stella Loughortie Cardwell Phillips. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by six brothers, Philo Franklin Phillips, Earnest Branson Phillips, Herbert Haze Calvin Phillips, William Lloyd Phillips, Wade Herlie Phillips, and Dwight Carroll Phillips; and three sisters, Mary Ruth Phillips Spears, Ina Mae Phillips Spears, and Zora Vae Phillips Spears.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Vickie McCall Phillips; one son, Randy Lee Phillips and wife Kasey Sophrona Bell Phillips; three daughters, Angela "Angie" Phillips, Crystal Annette Phillips, and Keesha Dawn Phillips Shatley and husband Ronnie Shatley; thirteen grandchildren, Joshua Lee Phillips and wife Lorena, Matthew Steven Phillips and fiancée Sylvia, Ryan Moore, Justin Moore and wife Laura, Dominiq Helton and fiancée Hannah, Xavier Helton, Chloe Helton, Stephanie Shatley, Anna Irene Bell and fiancée Isaiah, Alexandrya Bell and significant other Cameron, Hailey Martinez and husband Isiah, Kaysea Moore and fiancée Jordan, and Jonathan Moore and wife Kriston; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Grandview Park Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Kincaid Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Phillips, Matt Phillips, Dominiq Helton, Braylen Phillips, Aidan Faircloth, Ronnie Shatley, Justin Moore, Tanner Moore, and Isaiah Gause.
