Randy Dean Silver, age 69, of Lenoir, North Carolina went home to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Randy was born on May 24, 1956 to the late William and Genevieve Silver in Yancey County, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Montgomery Silver.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dolly Silver; step-son, Bobby Ford and wife Donna; brothers, Jeffrey Silver, Bill Silver, Richard Silver, Chad Silver, Gordon Silver, and Travis Silver; sister, Sherry McEntire; his entire church family who loved him dearly; and numerous other friends and loved ones.

Randy was a Godly man who was very active in his church. He was always doing something to serve the Lord and to serve his church. His service also extended to helping others who were in need, even going as far as stopping on the side of the road to help a stranger. Randy loved everyone, and he had a true servant's heart. He was a wonderful and loving husband and step-father. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, church family, and all who knew him.

A funeral service to honor the life of Randy Dean Silver will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 2:00PM at Faith Baptist Church with Reverend Derick Lingerfelt officiating.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the church.

Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.

Following the burial, a meal will be served in the church fellowship hall. All are welcome.
