In Loving Memory of Ray Bowman

Ray Bowman, a faithful servant of God, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2026.

Above all, Ray was an extraordinary husband and a loving father. He carried that same love and dedication into his faith, serving for many years as a loyal and involved member of The Miracle Church known for his unwavering faith, and boundless love for others. As a dedicated Deacon, he provided spiritual guidance, leadership, and a helping hand to anyone in need. A Dedicated Sunday School Superintendent, where he inspired generations to walk closely with God.

Ray's warmth and big heart made him a man truly loved by all. Ray was a familiar face at RPM Industrial Coatings Group, where he worked for over 25 years.

Ray was born on April 24, 1966 in Catawba County, North Carolina to the late Larry Bowman and Marian Patton.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Allen Bowman.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sharon Bowman; sons, Alex Bowman (Jenny) and Josh Blevins (Debbie); daughter, Misty McGuire (Matt); sister, Deborah Walker (O.H.); grandchildren, Krista Bowman, Gage McGuire, Jacob McGuire, Isaiah McGuire, and Noah McGuire; and great grandchildren, Kynleigh McGuire, Gage Koi McGuire, and Zayla McGuire.

His legacy of service, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of his church family, friends, and loved ones.

A celebration of Ray's life and faith will be held at The Miracle Church (211 North Fairview Dr. Lenoir, NC 28645) on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 3:30PM with Pastor David Allen Day officiating.

The family will receive visitors at the church thirty minutes prior to the service from 3:00PM until 3:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Miracle Church under Ray's name.
