Reba Wilcox Coffey, age 85, of Lenoir passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. She was born August 13, 1940 in Watauga County, NC to the late Linney Franklin Wilcox and Nora Walker Wilcox. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Kenneth L. Coffey; one brother, Frank Wilcox; and four sisters, Connie Wilcox, Bonnie Wilcox, Edna Wilcox, and Ruby Wilcox.

Mrs. Coffey was a faithful member of Yadkin Baptist Church and a dedicated supporter of the Joy Club.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Wayne Lawrence Coffey; one son, David Wayne Coffey and wife Margo; daughter-in-law, Doreen Coffey; four brothers, Charlie Wilcox, Odean Wilcox, R.D. Wilcox and wife Margaret, and Bill Alverson and wife Reba; four beloved grandchildren, Mason Coffey and wife Amy, Billy Kidd, Darrell Coffey, and Dalton Coffey and wife Jasmine; four great-grandchildren, Lane Coffey, Riley Coffey, Bryan Kidd, and James Coffey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Yadkin Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Livingston and Rev. Jimmy Phillips officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Yadkin Baptist Church, Joy Club, P.O. Box 37, Patterson NC 28661.
