Reba Dew Coffey Walsh walked peacefully through Heavens Gates to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 28, 2023.

Reba was the daughter of the late Mattie Rose Greene Coffey and Ralph Robert Coffey born on October 9, 1938. In addition to her parents, her loving husband, Fedrick W. Walsh was waiting at Heavens Gates for her.

Reflecting on the life of this exceptional human being is an honor, to share some memories most precious. Our mama was our daddy's most precious sweetheart. They shared 41 years of hard work, lots and lots of happy times, fulfilling times, and a peaceful life with faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved her family and friends. She loved playing the piano in church. Before she learned to play, she promised God if he would let her learn to play piano in church that she would only play in church. And that is what she did. We all will remember her most beautiful singing that she always enjoyed. Her sister, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, family and friends will remember the fellowship she always enjoyed. The "drop ins" in the middle of the night or any of the "get togethers" with all family and friends. Her door was always open and never locked when we were growing up. She walked and lived the life as an example we all should follow the best we can.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Thomas Fedrick Walsh and Richard B. Walsh (Kay); two daughters, Anita W. Watson (Keith) and Myra R. Shore; grandchildren, April Jenkins (Darren), Ben Walsh, Hannah Hartley (Matt), Corey Watson (Shannon), Ashlin Melton (Alec), Wrilee Walsh (Arica), and Amanda Gardner (Ray); twelve great-grandchildren with two more on the way; sister, Rebecca C. Foust; and family friend, Tonya Walsh.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Piney Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Brent Dula officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Livingston Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church for all the love shared or to Amorem Hospice for all their tender loving care.
