Richard Charles Pruett, age 64, of Lenoir went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at his residence.  Born to the late Clifford Carl Pruett, Sr. and Opie Lee Green Pruett on April 20, 1957 in Columbus, Georgia.   Richard is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeanell Wilcox Pruett and his brother Clifford Carl Pruett, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Leesa Garcia of San Antonia, Texas; two grandchildren, Hailey and Noah Garcia; his loving partner in life, Ruby B. Dula of the home; and Lisa McDonald and Kim McNeil who loved and cared for him and his cat, Opie Lee.

Richard "Bull" Pruett was a diehard Alabama football fan (ROLL TIDE).  He also enjoyed collecting guns and NASCAR memorabilia.  Richard was a salesman with Wilcox Marketing for many years.  Richard was of the Baptist faith and attended Mountain Grove Baptist Church before becoming homebound.

A Gathering of Friends for Richard will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.
