Rickey Dean Gragg, age 70, of Connelly Springs passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation. He was born December 26, 1955 in Caldwell County to the late Earl Edward Gragg, Sr. and Louise Perry Gragg. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, William "Billy" Gragg; one sister, Mary Gragg; and three grandchildren, Justin Cook, Bryson Freeman, and Alexis Griffith.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 40 years, Paulette Lane Gragg; two sons, Samuel Helms (O'Neal) and Ricky Gragg (Halley); two daughters, Terri Freeman (Andy) and Jessica Webb (Thomas); two brothers, Doug Gragg and Earl Gragg, Jr. (Debbie); one sister, Ann Taylor (Tommy); grandchildren, Trey Miller (Makayla), Rhaelyn Ferguson, Brooklyne Webb, Elijah Helms, Shaheem Webb, Ki-Yahna Webb, and Kayta Millwood; two great-grandchildren, Easton Freeman and Addilyn Freeman; and an abundance of beloved nieces, nephews, adopted grandchildren, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne White officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Ginger Cake Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Trey Miller, Rhaelyn Ferguson, Brooklyne Webb, Thomas Webb, Ricky Gragg, and Shaheem Webb.
