Mr. Robert "Beagle" Taylor Horton Jr., age 61, of Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025.

Robert was born on November 11, 1963 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Robert Horton Sr. and Nora Ferguson Horton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Tyler Dixon (April); brothers, Darrell Horton and Reginald Jones; sisters, Ashley Horton, Wendy Horton, and Sherry Dula; uncle, Eugene Horton; 3 grandchildren, Tayshaun, Liana, Amari; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dearly cherished friends.

Robert was a hard worker who took pride in his work. He worked at Tyson of Wilkesboro, NC, Bud's Diner of Lenoir, NC, D. Lipford's Landscaping of Lenoir, NC, and S. Witherspoon Yards and More Services of Lenoir, NC.

A memorial service to honor the life of Robert "Beagle" Taylor Horton Jr. will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 2pm at Beaver Creek Church in Ferguson, NC.
