Ronald Lee Cook, age 76, of Lenoir passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 17, 1947 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Carl and Margaret Fetner Cook.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Shook Cook, of the home; one sister, Sherri Bowen of Lenoir; two nieces, Julie Yates (Alan), and Hailey Brown (Jacob); six nephews, Jordan Sherrill (Callie), Jonah Sherrill (Taylor), Zachary Brown, Derrick Sherrill (Tausha), Brad Puckett, and Nathan Elliott; one great-niece, Millie Ann Elliott; and one great-nephew, Marshall Sherrill.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Mr. Cook will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Nelson's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Summerlin and Rev. Shannon Harmon officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.

A private graveside service will be held for the family with military honors provided by the U.S. Navy and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
