Ronald Joseph Tojek, age 86, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation. He was born February 27, 1940 in Erie County, New York to the late Thomas Edward Tojek, Jr. and Stella Chojnacki Tojek. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five siblings, Edward Thomas Tojek, Frank Tojek, Irene Tojek, Thomas Robert Tojek, and Eugene John Tojek.

Mr. Tojek was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving 8 years as a K-9 Dog Trainer for the Military Police; he retired as a Staff Sargent. He was a simple man who found peace and happiness in the solitude of his home and garden. He enjoyed listening to classical music, reading, taking in his Cowboy Westerns, following all the hockey games-especially the Carolina Hurricanes, and cheering on the Carolina Panthers.

Those left to cherish his memory include one brother, Richard Tojek and family; one sister, Rita Tojek Lanc and family; a host of beloved nieces and nephews; a few dear friends whom he cherished; and his faithful fur companion, Miss Kitty.

To honor the wishes of Mr. Tojek no services will be held.
