Rosa Lee Greene Rash, age 81, of Lenoir passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Shaire Center. She was born February 12, 1944 in Caldwell County to the late James Greene and Toy Harmon Greene. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by six brothers, Arlo Greene, Paul Greene, Joe Greene, Willard Greene, Tommy Greene, and Roy Greene; and three sisters, Nina Bell Chandler, Thelma Chandler, and Mary Ann Clark.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Scott Rash (Megan Fisher); two brothers, Buster Greene (Judy) and James Greene (Faye); three sisters, Kay Connor (Jerry), Jane Greene, and Patricia Richardson (Larry); and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Ms. Rash will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at Berea Advent Christian Church with Rev. Robert Earp officiating.
