Roxanne Penning Raby went to be with her Lord on July 2, 2023.  She was born on July 3, 1961 in Macomb County, Michigan to the late Robert R. Penning and Barbara Ribold Penning.  She is survived by her husband, Clarence W. Raby, Jr.,  stepsons, Johnathan W. Raby (Amanda) of Raleigh, NC and Clarence W. Raby, III of Leominister, Mass.; granddaughter, Cadence E. Raby, sister Patti-Jo Robert's (Larry); brothers Bradley Penning and Andrew Penning and nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers William Penning and Bobby Scott Penning

Roxanne was a servant of her Lord Jesus Christ and a longtime member of Berea Advent Church where she offered her testimony and love of music by singing in church services and for special events.  She was active with the women of the church and offered her crafting talents for making cards for church members and the community.

As a licensed massage therapist, Roxanne was the owner of Living Well Therapeutic Massage Center in Lenoir for over 20 years. In retirement, she was a master crafter and spent many hours thoughtfully creating projects to gift to family members and friends.  She was devoted to her crafting friends and loved to laugh and scrapbook with them.

A private burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will follow on Saturday July 8, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Berea Advent Christian Church, 4381 Collettsville Rd, Collettsville, NC 28611.
