Samuel "Sammy" Charlie Bryant, age 27, of Lenoir passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare.

Born September 24, 1996 in Caldwell County, Sammy was a son of Hallie Benge Bryant and the late Michael Howard Bryant.  Sammy had worked as a construction worker.  Sammy enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He attained the rank of Eagle Scout.  Sammy also enjoyed working on lawnmowers and doing landscaping.  In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Margorie Bryant; his maternal grandparents, Samuel and Cleo Benge.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his fiancé, Kirstin Stewart; his children, Jase Bryant, Zyan Bryant and Delilah Effler; a sister, Carolyn Maupin (husband Jerry); a brother, Larry Bryant; three nieces, Beth Maupin, Jessica Arnette and Autumn Walker; a nephew, Kendal Bryant.

A celebration of Sammy's life will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Brady Adkins and Pastor David Bean officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Yadkin Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Maupin, Joe Shivers, Ethan Walker, Tyler Piercy, Elijah Craddock, Chris Murphy, Seth Critcher and Robert Lee; Honorary pallbearers will be members of the MGM Construction Company.

The family will receive friends at Blue Creek Baptist Church prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
