Samuel "Jeff" Walter Greene, age 65, of Lenoir, North Carolina was called to his Heavenly home on January 27, 2025.

Jeff was born on May 2, 1959 to the late Rev. Roscoe Greene and Hazel Church Greene in Burke County, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Rev. Van Greene, Rev. Jimmy Greene, Rev. Hayes Greene, Louis Greene, and Beauford Greene; sisters, Wanda Greene and Martha Smith; brothers-in-law, Gene Gragg, Bill Greene, and Rayvonn Greene; and sisters-in-law, Irene Greene and Nelda Greene.

Those left to cherish Jeff's memory include his brother, Billy Greene; sisters, Phyllis Hamby and husband Dan, Stella Gragg, Betty Curtis and husband Clarence, Judy Braswell and husband Sam, Anna Robbins and husband Bill, Nina Reed and husband Glenn, and Patsy Bennett and husband Jim; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life for Samuel Walter "Jeff" Greene, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2:00pm at East Hudson Baptist Church, 344 Mt Herman Rd, Hudson, NC 28638.

The family wishes to thank all those who cared for Jeff and stayed with him in his time of need.
