Sandra Brewer Auton, age 83, went to her Heavenly home on December 16th, 2024.

Sandra was born on March 3rd, 1941 in Davidson County, North Carolina to the late Earl Brewer and Jennie Mae McLendon Brewer.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Willard Scott Auton; brothers, James Brewer, Kenneth Brewer, and Charles Franklin Brewer; and grandson, Mitchell Scott Auton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Willard "Bill" Auton; daughter, Teresa Phillips; sisters, Earlene Ward and Betty Jo Lofton; grandchildren, Haylie M. Coffey (Scott), G. Hunter Clark (Sarah), and Chad R. Auton; and great-grandchildren, Carson Clark, Chelsea Clark, Wade Coffey, and Teagan Coffey.

In addition to her love for the Lord and her family, she was a devoted school teacher for 32 years. She touched many lives by way of education and considered each child one of her "kids".

A memorial service to honor the life of Sandra Brewer Auton will be held on Thursday, December 19th, 2024 at Whitnel First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Reverend Stuart White officiating.

The family will receive visitors at the church following the service.
