Sandra Crump Oakes, age 61, of Granite Falls, NC passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Sandra was born on July 29, 1963 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late James Williams and Wilma "Jane" Crump.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Oakes and brothers, Michael Hollander and John Paul Hollander.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her son, Dejay Coffey (Cindy); daughter, Kassandra Clark; grandchildren, Kaleb Clark, Katie Clark, Devin Clark, Destiny Coffey, Chelsey McNeil, and Jay McNeil; great grandchild, Alianna; brother, Jason Hollander (Kelly); sisters, Carolyn Polk (Dwight) and Donna Anderson; sister in law, Rita Hollander; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra was a caring and fun woman. She always put other's needs before her own. She loved her family dearly. Sandra fought a brave battle with end stage renal disease and lung cancer.

A memorial service to honor the life of Sandra Oakes will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:00PM at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ira Edwards officiating.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
