Mrs. Sandra Marie Adkins Teague, age 63, of Lenoir passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson.

Born August 3, 1962 in Watauga County, Sandra was a daughter of the late Arnold and Marlene Greer Adkins.  Sandra was a CNA and loved being outside.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her dogs and plants.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Chassidy Chanae' Pitts; and a niece, Harlie Ritch.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry A. Teague; a daughter, Brittany Teague Tate (husband Christopher); two sons, Johathan Baxter Miller and Cody Teague; a sister, April Hamby; two nieces, Hailey Hamby and Destiny Hamby; a nephew, Michael Hamby, Jr.; a special great niece, Kendyll Buchanan; she is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

A memorial service for Sandra Teague will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Laytown Baptist Church in Lenoir.
