Sarah West Holman, age 83, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away in her home on October 15, 2025.

Sarah was born in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Alexander and Fannie West on August 10, 1942.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J.W Holman; son, Randy Holman; and sisters, Ann Laws, Vera McLean, Ruth Shook; Minnie Smith, Mary Houck, and Florence Walker; and brothers, Abraham West, Harvey West, Ira West, and York West.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Dwight Holman and numerous grandchildren.

Sarah was a loving mother. She was a proud Christian and loved God, Jesus, and her family. She attended Poarch's Chapel Missionary Methodist Church. Sarah was married to J.W. Holman since 1959. She will be dearly missed.

A visitation to honor the life of Mary Holman will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 10am at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private.
