Shannon Hicks Coffey, age 53, of Lenoir passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026 at her residence. She was born September 25, 1973 in Caldwell County to the late Kenneth Lee Hicks and Clara Belle Darlene Bryant.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 32 years, Bradley Allen Coffey; three sons, Christopher Bradley Coffey, Jacob Allen Coffey (Dori), and David Ray Bryant; one daughter, Brailey Nicole Coffey; one brother, Bobby Hicks (Alex); three half-brothers, Joey Bryant (Brianna), John Paul Bryant, and Alan Bryant; one half-sister, April Watson (JR); numerous nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren, Piper Ann-Marie Coffey, Mila Elizabeth, Charleigh Joy, and Lilith Sage.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Gentry officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
