Sharon Pittman McCrary, age 65, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025.

Sharon was born on February 5, 1960 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Marilyn Pittman and the late Robert Pittman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 35 years, Rufus McCrary; mother, Marilyn Pittman; sons, Brian Brickman and wife Becky and Nathan Brickman; step-son, Steven McCrary; step-daughter, Christal McCrary; sister, Diane Sanborn and husband Richard; grandchildren, Avonlea Brickman and Cosette Brickman; and aunt and uncle, Paul and Wally Mincer.

Sharon graduated from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute where she worked as a faculty secretary for 20 years until retirement. She also worked for MBF in Greensboro doing dog shows. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral service to honor the life of Sharon McCrary will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Stephens Lutheran Church with Reverend Dan Duke officiating.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.
