Sheena Ashley Rachels, age 37, of Elkin, North Carolina passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Sheena was born in Surry County, North Carolina on October 6, 1989 to Brenda and Jeffrey Rachels.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Brenda Rachels; father, Jeff Rachels; aunt, Glenda Church (Mike); grandmothers, Dorothy Royall and Peggy Rachels; cousin, Sarah Littlejohn (Jack); and second cousins, Eliza Clark and Penelope Clark.

Sheena was a beautiful, loving, caring, and kind soul who was full of joy. She had a heart of gold. Sheena was intelligent and spread her love and light with others. She fought a hard battle with illness. She was her mother’s whole heart. Sheena will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life to honor Sheena Rachels will be held at a later date.
