Sheila Craig Edwards, age 66, of Granite Falls passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Amorem Hospice. She was born March 12, 1958 in Caldwell County to Helen Younce Craig and the late Jimmy Wilson Craig.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Helen Younce Craig, of Lenoir; her loving husband of 48 years, Stanley "Layne" Edwards, of the home; one son, Brandon Edwards (Lauren) of Morganton; one sister, Paula Craig (Lisa) of Granite Falls; two beloved grandchildren, Kaeson Edwards and Harlow Edwards; and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Stading and Rev. Frank Denning officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
