Sylvia Lowe Petitt, age 74, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at her residence. She was born October 29, 1949 in Catawba County to the late Robert L. Lowe and Timmie Taylor Lowe. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Petitt; two brothers, Bobby Lowe and Gary Lowe; and two sisters, Jeanette Small and Ruby Lowe.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Brian Hall and wife Jennifer of Lenoir, and Devonte Petitt and wife Barbara of Kentucky; one brother, Steve Lowe of Lenoir; seven grandchildren, Curtis Hall, Matthew Hall, Andrew Chester, Adam Chester, Abril "Abby" Ramirez, Arturo Ramirez, and Destiny Foster; two great-grandchildren, Hazel Hall and Scarlett Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time.
