Tamera Lynne Laws Ballard, age 63, of Granite Falls passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at Brockford Inn Assisted Living. She was born November 26, 1960 in Caldwell County to Carolyn Wilcox Beane and the late Robin Randall Laws. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her step-father, John "Buck" Beane; nephew, Zeth Hypes; and niece, Storm Frye.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Carolyn Wilcox Beane, of Lenoir; step-mother, Linda Bryant of Lenoir; one son, Adam Ballard of Rock Hill, SC; two brothers, John Beane, II (Wendy) of Michigan, and Robin Laws, II of Lenoir; three sisters, Miley Watson (Ron) of Greenville, SC, Adriane Laws of Swannanoa, and Lana Laws (Eric Boyd) of Charlotte; and nieces and nephews, Rheanna Watson, Sydney Watson, Spencer Beane, Liam Laws, and Zach Laws.

Memorial services will be held Friday, November 29, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tracy Love officiating.
