Tammy Younce Greene, age 52, of Lenoir, NC, passed away on Tuesday July 25, 2023.

Tammy is preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Lovins Younce.

Those left to cherish her memory include her father, Pastor Leonard G. Younce; son Justin Greene (Emily); daughter Taylor Passmore Bass (Brianna); brother, Barry Younce (Linda); sisters, Lisa Greene (Jeff) and Windy Holsclaw (Steve); grandchildren, Brantlee Childers and Aidan Coffey; and fur baby, Lil Bit.

Tammy loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She was an avid collector of knick knacks such as teddy bears, the smaller the better. One could always bet that Tammy would be enjoying her favorite snack of graham crackers and peanut butter. Her children, grandchildren, and fur baby were her life. She was always willing to help anyone. She could often be heard starting a sentence with, "If there's anything you need…"

A memorial service will be held for Tammy Younce Greene on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the chapel.
