Mrs. Teresa Joan Stephens Angove, age 68, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at her home.

Born June 5, 1955 in Miami, Florida, Teresa was the daughter of the late Juanita Stephens. Teresa enjoyed going to the beach and to Pigeon Forge. She will be remembered for how she took care of others and for the love she had for her granddaughters. In addition to her mother, she is also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Christopher Kenebrew.

Survivors include her husband, John Monroe Angove; two sons, Scott Angove (Tosha Hightower) and Matthew Angove (Tanya Barrett Angove); two brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Lawson and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Angove; her three granddaughters, Yasmin Angove, Ciara Angove and Talia Angove.

A memorial service celebrating Teresa's life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church.
