Terry Eugene Lovins, age 70, of Lenoir passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at his residence. He was born February 23, 1953 to the late Fritz and Evelyn Labo Lovins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Donald Lovins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years, Glenda Sumpter Lovins, of the home; one daughter, Terri Wood and husband Chris of Lenoir; two brothers, Robbie Lovins, and Steve Lovins and wife Debbie, all of Lenoir; two beloved grandchildren, Sierra Wood and Angelica Harris; one great-grandchild, Troy Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Terry will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Whitnel First Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hedgecock officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
