Mr. Thomas Edward Hendrix, age 89, of Lenoir passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at his home.

Born January 2, 1937 in Wilkes County, Thomas was the son of the late Donley and Pearl Simmons Hendrix.

Survivors include his wife, Nannie Lee Adams Hendrix of the Home; son, Tommy Adam Hendrix (wife Amanda) of Lenoir; sister, Shirley Adams; grandchild, Morgan; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Adams-Hendrix Family Cemetery with Rev. Keith Edminston officiating.
