Thomas Ross Spence, age 72, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson.

Thomas was born April 13, 1952 in Mabscott, West Virginia to the late Jessie and Virginia Davis Spence.  Thomas was a carpenter and loved building things.  He loved gardening and will be remembered for helping others.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin and David Spence.

Survivors include two daughters, Becky Hartness (husband Shane) and Carrie Masin (husband Josh); his partner, Kathy Wright; two sisters, Margarett Jones (husband Bill) and Darlene Rickard; two grandchildren, Jacob Hartness and Brianna Masin; Thomas was also survived by numerous other relatives.
