On September 27, 2025, Tony Wayne Causby, age 80, of Lenoir, North Carolina got to meet the Anchor that he held on to for 29 years.  The Anchor is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  Tony was a kind and soft spoken man who loved his family dearly.  He would always share stories of his childhood to anyone who had a kind ear and especially his love for John Deere Tractors.  His most proud achievements were being a loving husband to Debra for 31 years and the most amazing father to Rosalind.

Tony was born on October 9, 1944 in Caldwell County to the late Ralph and Viola Mae Causby.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Derrick Oliver Causby; brothers, Roy Ray Causby, Gary William Causby, and Bob Stewart Causby; and sister, Patricia Sue Causby.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Debra Causby; daughter, Rosalind Causby Kelley (Dwight); brothers, Ralph Jr. Causby (Pansey), Joe Mack Causby (Sandy), Steve Richard Causby (Betty) and Mark Douglas Causby (Patti); sisters, Mabel Laney, Donna Elaine Coffey, Rita Gail Livingston (Jack), Connie Dean Allison (Donnie), and Joanie Kay Sanders; sisters-in-law, Renee Causby and Sandra Causby; grandchild, Shane Dugan Kelley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life to follow on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
