Troy Don Cannon, age 70, of Hudson, NC, passed away on June 23, 2023.

He was born to the late Felix Perry Cannon and Myrtle Leslie Smith Cannon on March 24, 1953 in Burke County.

In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by his brothers Jake Cannon, Bruce Cannon, Rex Cannon, Terry Cannon, and Bobby Cannon; sisters Louise Gray and Phyllis Amos; and two beloved pets Molly and Macy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Bernadean Cannon of Hudson, NC; sons Jeremiah B. Cannon of Florida, and Timmy Slack of Troy, NC; daughter Nicole Slack of Troy, NC.; brothers Jerold Cannon (Sheila) of Lenoir, NC, Wayne Cannon (Deloris) of Boone, NC, and Timmy Cannon (Tina) of Happy Valley, NC.; sisters Jo Ann Gray (Don) of Baton, NC, Kay Woods of Albemarle, NC, and Penny Triplett (Roger) of Lenoir, NC; grandchildren Liam Cannon, Jaey'Lyn Little and Jacq'Lyn Little as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held for Mr. Troy Cannon at a later date.
