Vickie Harris Keever, age 67, of Lenoir passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at her residence. She was born October 30, 1958 in El Paso County, Texas to the late Garland Harris, Jr. and Colene Melvina Poovey Harris.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles "Bo" Keever of the home; one step-son, Justin Charles Keever of Lenoir; step-daughter, Whitney Keever Winkler (Dustin) of Lenoir; nephews, Gary, Barry, and Dylan all of Lenoir; four grandchildren, Hailey Keever, Ryan Winkler, Iveigh Winkler, and Levi Winkler; and the JOY of her life Sadie-Mae.

Vickie's biggest enjoyment was spending time on Lake James with family and close friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Green Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Parker and Rev. Lane Hamby officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Proffit, Kenny Fortune, Scott Hunt, William Campbell, Michael Parsons, and Adam Laws.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to an animal rescue of your choosing.
